Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters

  • HIPPY is a two-year home-based program for parents of preschool children
  • HIPPY empowers parents to be their children's first teachers
  • HIPPY promotes school readiness and maximizes the chances of a successful early school environment
  • HIPPY fosters parent involvement in school and community life
  • HIPPY is FUN!   
 
HIPPY Inala is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations through the Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters.
 
Through regular home visiting and group activities over a two year period HIPPY provides parents with the materials, skills and confidence to enable them to better help their children prepare for a successful start to school life.
 
 HIPPY will be delivered to families in Inala, Acacia Ridge and Carole Park regions in South Brisbane.
