Swine Influenza A Strain
The Department of Health and Ageing has been informed by the World Health Organization (WHO) of a new strain of Influenza A identified in some individuals in USA, as well as some cases of severe respiratory illness in Mexico. This strain has elements of human (H1N1), swine and avian influenza viruses.
